Lake Village Airport and Lake Village Aero Service are owned and operated by Mike Steinle.

Mike is originally from New Jersey and moved to Lake Village when he purchased the airport

in 2005. Lake Village Airport's number of antique aircraft as well as its grass and paved

runways attracted him due to his passion for vintage aviation.

Lake Village Airport was established after World War II in 1947 by Stanley

and Leon Davis. It started with mostly outside tie-downs and a single hangar on

the south end that is still in use today. Over the years it has grown with the

addition of 6 buildings, a 1000 foot over-run, a complete set of taxiways, and a

paved and lighted runway.
